Antenna Kits for EMC/EMI testing applications

Antenna kits are perfect for Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing applications. They provide the solution for pre-compliance testing of products – whether for indoor or outdoor use.

Our EMC/EMI antenna kits are manufactured by Com-Power and combine equipment intended for specific frequency ranges which complement and assist each other. We guarantee that whatever frequency range you need – one of our kits will be perfect for the job.

Each kit includes an easy-carry-case, which are specially designed to fit the contained test equipment snugly and safely to prevent damage. They have compartments which fit the items tightly so they don't rattle around during transportation.

So you can perform the tests you require, we offer a wide range of EMC/EMI testing equipment. Each antenna kit includes multiple test antennas, a preamplifier (or two), a comb generator (or two), near field probes and a cable kit.

All of our test equipment is individually calibrated and the test data is included with the product.

We also provide all of our customers with an exclusive 3 year warranty.

Summary of our 5 Antenna kits

The first of our five antenna kits is the ANK-310. It contains the PS-500 near field probe set and a comb generator. Also included a preamplifier and two broadband antennas, one collapsible biconical antenna and a log periodic antenna, all in one carrying case with specific compartments. This equipment is intended for testing inside the 30 MHz up to 1 GHz frequency range.

Second on our list is the ANK-910M model containing three broadband antennas. It also features a near field probe kit, comb generator, and a high gain preamplifier. The combined equipment is perfect for testing within the 9 kHz to 1 GHz frequency range. This kit is unique because it is the only one which includes the AM-741 monopole antenna, all in one custom carrying case.

Our third antenna kit is the ANK-910L – this model is different because of its inclusion of the AL-130 active loop antenna. It contains three broadband antennas in total, and a rugged carrying case. It also comes with a, comb generator, near field probe kit, and a high gain preamplifier. All of this equipment is for testing frequencies between 9 kHz and 1 GHz.

The fourth model is the ANK-318, which contains a carrying case with wheels and three broadband antennas (Horn Antenna, foldable biconical antenna, and a compact log periodic antenna). It also features a near field probe kit, two comb generators, and an RF & microwave preamplifiers. The combination of these items are for testing within the 30 MHz to 18 GHz frequency range.

Finally, our model ANK-140. This one contains a near field probe kit, comb generator, two passive horn antennas, two preamplifiers and a carrying case. All of this equipment is for testing within the 500 MHz to 40 GHz frequency range.

Furthermore, each of our antenna kits include at least one:

  • Comb Generator – this is used to quickly detect problems in radiated emissions testing setup. Instead of performing a full calibration which is expensive and time consuming, you can verify the entire setup with efficiency and timeliness with our light-weight and portable RF comb generators.
  • Near Field Probe kit – the purpose of this probe kit is to locate EMI radiation in products that fail to pass EMC compliance tests. Antennas are unable to investigate this problem, whereas near field probe kits can identify high emissions coming from cables, enclosures and circuits.
  • Preamplifier – these are used for EMC testing, amongst other tests which demand a high gain. If you don't use a preamplifier, signals with amplitudes which are below the noise floor can be received but are unmeasurable. With a broadband preamplifier boosting the sensitivity of the antenna, radiated emissions can now be measured.
  • Cables – specifically made to be used with the equipment included in each kit.
